The Friends for Good team is a group of friends that came together to build an organization that they each wished existed in the city of Philadelphia. FFG was established to create readily-accessible volunteer opportunities within the community, connect more deeply with others, and make a positive impact on our city. In the summer of 2019, we joined forces with the creation of Friends for Good, and have been working since to build our presence, and positively impact our community. 

 

We feel very strongly that most people have an innate desire to do good and help others, and we hope to provide the path to make it as easy as possible for others to give back. FFG creates easy to join volunteer opportunities and events, removing hurdles often posed by other organizations like unreasonable time commitments, confusing application processes, wait lists, unfamiliar surroundings, and not knowing whether there will be a Friend to volunteer with.

Each of us are busy young professionals whose passion and belief in what we are building motivates us to commit our time, vision, and resources to FFG! We intend to establish a platform that supports the creation of life-long friendships, and makes lasting differences in our community that will endure for years to come.
