Acceptance of terms

By using ffgphilly.org or signing up for any FFG event, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy.

Use of the site

You may use this site for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to attempt to gain unauthorized access, scrape content at scale, interfere with the site's operation, or use it to transmit malicious code.

Photos and other content you submit

Some pages let you upload photos from our events. By uploading, you confirm that the photo is yours or that you have permission to share it, and that anyone clearly shown in it is comfortable appearing publicly.

You keep ownership of your photos. You grant Friends for Good a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display, reproduce, crop, and share them on this site, in our emails and reports, and on our social accounts, in connection with our charitable work. You can ask us to remove your photo at any time.

Do not upload anything unlawful, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, misleading, promotional, or infringing on someone else's rights. Uploads appear without a manual review step, and we may remove any submission for any reason and without notice.

Volunteer participation

Taking part in FFG service events is voluntary and at your own risk. You agree to follow event-specific safety guidance from organizers and partner organizations.

Conduct at events

We expect everyone to treat volunteers, staff, partners, and the neighbors we serve with respect. Harassment, discrimination, intoxication that affects safety, and any behavior that puts others at risk are grounds for being asked to leave an event and for being declined from future ones.

Donations

Donations to Friends for Good, Inc. (EIN 85-1704976) are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law. Donations are non-refundable except where required by law. Gifts designated for a specific program are used for that purpose; if a program is fully funded or cannot proceed, we will redirect the gift to a closely related use.

Event tickets and registrations

Ticket purchases and sponsorships for fundraisers such as the Good Gala are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled. Dates, venues, and programming can change, and we will notify registered guests of material changes.

Intellectual property

All site content, including text, images, and logos, is owned by Friends for Good, Inc. or used with permission. You may not reproduce it without written consent.

Third-party links and services

This site links to partner organizations, news coverage, and our donation platform. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or their handling of your information.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The site is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Friends for Good is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the site. Pennsylvania law governs these terms.

Changes

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the site means you accept the updated terms.
